(1) Pick The Right Topic / Niche For Your Blog
So, all the parts of this article are very important, but this part is the most important. Because if you choose the right topic for your blog before creating a blog, you will be able to work better on your blog in the future.
Note: Before I start, I would like to say that always choose the topic in which you are an expert, because if you choose a topic in which you are not an expert, you will not feel comfortable working on this topic in the future. Your blog will not succeed.
- What are the most popular blog topics and Niches?
- How do I get up with a blog idea?
- What should I blog with?
- How to choose right blog topics?
- What if I don’t know what a blog?
- How do we start a blog?
We get questions like these a lot on daily basis, and they usually ask from people at their wit’s end.
Do you want to know the big problem with blogging?
Most people don’t know there is a too big chance of failure, so they spend months or even years to creating a blog that has zero chance of success.
At last, they leave and start over again, but again, they invest months or even years to creating a second blog (third, fourth or fifth) but blog that doesn’t work.
what is the main reason for that?
It’s not the reason because they’re dumb. And it’s not the reason because they’re lazy.
It’s only possible because they
its only happens because they choose the wrong blog topic or niche.
So, if you are starting a new personal blog, the rules are different. Those are the only two more questions that should matter to you.
- If you’re looking to start a blog that will bring in traffic
- If you want to create a blog that will bring passive income
So, You need to choose a viable blog topic / Niche that will give you a chance to fight for success. Because here is the part that is hard to swallow.
That’s the bad news for you?
Don’t worry, The good news is we are going to show you how to choose a winner.
And it’s a lot easier than you think.
How To Choose A Winning Blog Topic / Niche
First of all, Make a list of topics that you interested in.
These can be your hobbies, the topics you suspect are too highly profitable, and you read in a magazine while waiting for something profitable, or something random.
To be a workable blog topics, you need to be able to answer “yes” to these five questions:
- Do anyone existing blogs on this topic have a Facebook page with more than 20k fans?
- Do anyone blogs on this topic have more than 20k followers on Twitter?
- Does Amazon have any books with more than 50 reviews on this topic?
- When you search for keywords and phrases related to this topic, are there any Google ads?
- Do any keywords or key phrases related to this topic have more than 50k searches in Google’s Keyword Planner tool?
These above questions will let you know whether or not there is an existing targeted audience for your topic.
Why this is important for you:
Because, too many bloggers try to be smart. They prey on an audience that no one else presents.
They think, if there is no competitors for this topic, creating a successful blog will be easy!
But their thinking is completely wrong.
Because, if there are no competitors in your blog topic, who will link to you? Where will you get the audience? How will anyone find you?
It’s counter-intuitive, but there’s more than one competition
Blogging space is easy for new bloggers to succeed in this space.
So, don’t try to be unique. Don’t try to be too smart.
Choose a blog topic / niche that has an existing audience and a popular blog already agrees to the audience’s attention.
Where will you get the more targeted audience?

(2) Choose The right Blogging Platform
In fact, we’re a big fan of bloggers starting out for free. “Medium.com” has an account, so they can check their ideas and make sure they are applicable before creating a complete blog.
But once you’re ready to build an audience traffic and make money online, there is only one blogging platform you should consider, and it isn’t (Medium, Tumblr, Blogspot, or Wix)
It’s Only WordPress. Or, more specifically, self-hosted WordPress.
With practically you can install unlimited plugins, you can make customizations, and you can implement designs.
A self-hosted WordPress blog offers flexibility the free platforms can’t match. Yes, WordPress is technically free too. It’s open-source CMS Script. However, as we explain with detail in the article linked above.
Because it is self-hosted, and you have to purchase a hosting plan. So you can install WordPress on your own web hosting. That costs money (unless you choose free web hosting).
You also need to purchase your own domain name, which we will discuss in a next moment.
If you are really serious about blogging, and building an real audience, and monetizing your blog contents, you must need to set up your blog on a rock-solid foundation.
“You need WordPress.” & Why we recommend WordPress?
Because WordPress is an open source software that is available for free, Also it is very easy to use and even if you are not an expert in coding you can easily use WordPress.
With the help of WordPress plugins you can do everything you want, however if you do it through coding it will be a very laborious task.
But with the WordPress plugin, we don’t have to do any coding, Also, if you are having trouble doing anything, you can easily find WordPress tutorials.
So, WordPress is best choice for blogging and now jump to the next step and that is Choose A Good and Unique Domain Name for our blog.
(3) How To Buy A Good Domain Name
In this Domain Buying Guide, I will share with you some tips which is very important to check before buying a domain otherwise you will lose your money and time.
What most people do? They go to any domain registrar website and find their respective domain name. If the domain name is available, they buy it immediately without check domain history.
But did you know that this method of buying a domain is completely wrong and it can harm you later because you don’t yet know anything about the domain that you purchased recently.
The Following Points Maybe Possible
- The domain you purchased may not be brand new, rather it is an expired domain.
- The domain you purchased may be banned in Google Adsense.
- The domain you purchased may be banned in Google Search Console.
- The domain you purchased may be Involved in violation of DMCA policies.
- The domain you purchased may be blocked in Social Media like Facebook, Twitter ETC.
Why it is important to check all these points In This Domain Buying Guide?
These are very important and compulsory points and I highly recommend that you must check these points before buying any domain name.
Because if you accidentally register an expired domain and it is banned in Google AdSense, you will not be able to make money from this domain through Google Adsense and no matter how hard work you try.
Similarly if your domain also Banned in Google Search Console, In that case your website will not rank in Google Search Engine and if your website is not added in Google Search Engine then it will not get traffic. Because everyone knows that Google Search Engine is currently the biggest source to get traffic to any website.
DMCA Officially known as the “Digital Millennium Copyright Act” or DMCA in short, it’s a copyright law that was introduced in the US in 1998. It implements two laws of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) that were coined in 1996.
Suppose you buy an expired domain accidentally and this domain involved in DMCA policies that means if someone registered their website with DMCA and you post its content on your website without their permission, then you will get a copyright claim from DMCA.
In this case, you have to remove their content from your website otherwise your websites will not be ranked or removed your post link in Google search engine and Google AdSense will also ask you to remove the AdSense ad code from the related post.
The last point is the blocking of the website on social media. When you create a new website, Social Media is the biggest source to get traffic to the website but many new people constantly share the link of all their posts on social media (especially Facebook).
This is against the policy and in that case, the website is blocked and then you can never share the link of this website on Facebook again. So this is a very important point to check before the buying a domain otherwise you will lose lots of social media traffic.
Use The Right Domain Name Extensions (.com, .org, .net)
When you choose your domain name extension, you can be sure of one thing: “.com” is still the best.
According to research from DomainNameStat, 43% of all domains have the “.com” extension.
Why? Well, “.com” is the most familiar and easiest to remember.
While there are many successful websites with a “.net” and “.org”, your website will probably do better if it has a “.com” extension. It’s the safest bet.
My advice: Go with .com. If that’s taken, try .net or .org. If these are taken too, you’d be better off brainstorming a new domain name. And oh! – Avoid those weird extensions like “.club”, “.space”, “.pizza” and so on.
Choose Brand-able Domain Over Generic
Creative and brand-able domain names are always better than generic domain names.
Remember: Your domain name is how visitors will find, remember, and share your company on the web. It is the base of your brand.
What is the main difference between a brand-able domain and a generic domain name?
A brand-able domain name is unique and stands out from the competition, while a generic domain name is usually stuffed with keywords and unmemorable.
For Example, Do you know the difference between Healthblog.net, Newhealthblog.com, or Healthbloghub.com? Probably not, right?
These are horribly generic. They don’t have any meaning. You won’t hear anyone talking about how awesome “blog.com” is. Variations of the word “Blog” will increase the competition and make it blend in even more.
How we can find more Brand-able domain names:
- Create new words. You can make up your own catchy, new words. That’s what Google, Bing, and Yahoo did.
- Use existing words. You can use a thesaurus to find interesting words that fit your brand name.
- Use domain name generators. These tools can help you create a unique, brand-able domain name from your initial domain ideas and keywords. (You can also read the complete article about Domain Generators.)
Choose the Best and trusted Domain Registrar
There are thousands of domain registrars on the Internet that promote new offers every day and selling domains at a very low price.
But I advise you to always buy a domain from a trusted registrar. Because if you buy a domain from any trusted place, you will also get full support in case of any problem.
If you are also planning to buy a domain with web hosting. So I would recommend that you also buy a domain from the same company from which you are buying hosting.
This will give you support for hosting and domain from one place and they will automatically associate your domain with hosting and you will not have to do anything set up like Update DNS Records Or active SSL Certificate ETC.
Note: Generally, we recommend that the domain and hosting be purchased from the same company because some hosting providers give us some extra free addons like recently Namecheap offering free CDN for their customers when we buy hosting and domain from Namecheap.
But the problem is that whenever we want to change the hosting, we have a problem transferring the domain. So if you plan to change hosting in the future, I would like to ask you to register the domain separately. So that whenever you change hosting in the future, you will not face any problem.
Here are my selected and trusted Top 10 domain registrars, Where you can buy Domains without any hesitations because these are very popular and trusted companies.

What is Web Hosting? and I’m gonna tell you about How it works. So imagine that you have just come up with a new business idea and you want to open a store somewhere in your city.
You can register your store’s name, you can come up for the store logo, you can even make a product but none of that will matter unless you rent a physical space to set up your shop.
This is exactly How Web Hosting works on the Internet. So Web Hosting is just a service where you’re able to rent space on the internet and fill it with all of your TEXT, MEDIA, VIDEOS and go live with your website.
So when you start a website all of your website text’s, pictures, videos and buttons, these all have to be stored on a physical web hosting server somewhere that’s connected to the Internet.

So Web hosting will no longer be confused with buying a domain name. So when you buy a domain name that is just like securing the address where your online shop will be set up and hosted.
Web Hosting is what allows you to set up that online shop and be visible to anyone in the world through online web hosting server.
So if you bought domain name for your website but you didn’t get web hosting then you just type in your domain name and it would just take you to a screen that says this website is parked but not active.
So in order to go live you must need web hosting. So that’s what web hosting is and a little bit about how it works. If you have an idea for a website and you want to start designing it.

(6) Choosing A WordPress Theme
Before we start WordPress Theme Customizing, There are a few things we need to be clear about:
Your content is more important than anything else.
You can have a blog that is slow, ugly, clunky, but if you have great content on your blog, you can still get lots of traffic and earn passive income.
On the opposite, though. You have the most beautiful designed, user-friendly, SEO-friendly blog, But if the content is useless, nobody will care about your blog.
So, don’t let yourself get lost in these details. Your first priority to focus on making your blog functional, and then you can always free to come back and make it your blog unique or beautiful later.
I think you have understood Now, So let’s go over how you can find a great theme for your blog.

Until then you can learn the complete customization of the GeneratePress theme by watching this Playlist.
If you purchase a premium version of a theme, there is a different method to install it.

Let’s walk through how you can do it.
We will cover the following steps while writing the first blog post,
- Add New Post in WordPress
- Blog Post Ideas
- Write an Introduction
- Write Faster
- Improve Writing Skills
How to Start a Blog Post in WordPress
- 1. In the left-hand navigation pane of WordPress dashboard, hover pointer over Posts
- 2. Click Add New
There are different types of editors available in WordPress that we use to write blog posts, but by default WordPress has a Block Editor (aka the Gutenberg editor).
If you are using the default WordPress block editor, your screen will look like:
If you are using the Classic TinyMCE editor, your screen look like this.
“I personally like and prefer the classic editor, because it makes the work so much easier.”
If you want to use Classic Editor, first you need to install it from plugin section. As I mentioned above, how to install plugins.
After installation, activate the plugin and goto Settings > Writing,
Select Classic Editor in “Default editor for all users” also tick YES to “Allow user to switch editor” if you want to change editor while writing a post.
If you are using the WordPress classic editor, let’s go over the basic information so you will know how to get around.
1. Add title – Here you will write the title of the post
2. Add Media – By clicking this button, you can add Images, Videos, Audio and other media files into your post.
3. Tools – These are editing tools which we use for different purposes like change paragraph into heading, Bold & Italic the text, add quotation mark in text, change the text color ETC.
4. Content Writing Section – Here we will write our post content
5. Text – It’s convert visual editor to HTML editor. If you want to add some HTML codes into your post, you must use Text editor to add any HTML code like “Google Ads”, or third party ad code,
On the right side bar, you can see “Publish” section in which there are five important points.
1. Save Draft – If you need a break while writing a post or if the post content is too long and you need a few days to complete it, so click on Save Draft button and your post will not be published but will remain in draft. When the post is complete, you can publish it.
2. Preview – If you want to see, what your post looks like or how other users will see it, you can do by clicking on Preview button.
3. Status – Suppose you are writing some content and accidentally click on the Publish button which publishes your post when you did not want to publish, because it’s not complete yet. In this case, you can change the status of the post from Publish to Draft with this option.
4. Visibility – In this section the first option is “Publish” , “Stick this post to the front page“, This means that your post will always be on top of all other posts.
Second option is “Password Protected“. If you want to protect your relevant post with password, you can use this option. This is required when you want to give access to a particular person in your post, then you tell the password of the post to that person and he will be able to see your post.
3rd Option is “Private” If you want to hide your post from everyone, make it private.
5. Publish Date – This is post publish date and time. If you want to publish your post for specify time period you can use this option.
The Next Part of the Classic Post Editor is “Categories And Tags“,
1. Categories: If You Want To Create A Multi-Purpose Blog I Would Tell You Must Use The Categories like “Computer Tips, Software, Mobile Tips, Android ETC. It’s very helpful for visitors to find their relevant content from your blog.
2. Tags: The tag is one of the default rankings in WordPress. Users can add tags to their WordPress posts along with categories. However, although a category can cover a wide range of topics, tags focus on small and specific topics in scope. Think about the keywords used for the topics under discussion in a particular post.
The last side bar is “Feature Image“
Feature Image is a very important for WordPress Post because most people see feature image first then read your content.
If you add catchy feature image for your post you will get more traffic because as a habit most people just see feature image then open post to read.
It also integrates into Google Images, which helps drive traffic to your blog.
Are you worried? No need to worry, once you start using the classic editor, you will soon become proficient in it.
Now let’s deal with the writing questions, We often hear from bloggers.
Question: “How Do I Find ideas about Blog Post writing?”
Basically, We recommend two methods:
1. Use BuzzSumo
BuzzSumo is a tool that lets you search for popular posts on social media. If you need inspiration, what’s easier than browsing content that already works well with your target audience?
2. Find Something That Will Keep Your Readers Awake At Night
In other words: What did your readers toss and turn at two in the morning?
Are they thinking “how to get more traffic to their blogs?” Or maybe they’re struggling with blog promotion?
Bloggers who are able to answer this issue?, and those who work together to write about it, and just about it, the competition begins.
So, find a pain point for your readers. And then focus on helping them solve it.
Question: “How Do You Write a Good Post Headings?”
Copy and Follow the professional bloggers.
Visit the blogs of Professional Bloggers and your other favorite blogs. Look the patterns of the headings, Follow the pattern and write unique heading for your post.
Question: “How Do I Write a Good Introduction Of Post Content?”
There are many good techniques for writing a spell-bound introduction and here are five of my favorites:
- Empathize with your readers
- Ask a tantalizing opening question
- Alternate between short and long paragraphs. Rhythm your writing
- Use delayed transitions
- Use some deliberate repetition of words to maximize their effect
Each of the above techniques attracts and retains the reader
Busy. They want to dive deeper into your post to find out, What happens next?
Question: “How Can I Increase Post Writing Speed?”
Get rid of clutter you don’t need. I mean, you need to turning off your cell phone, buying noise canceling headphones, or even logging out of your email account.
One an unconventional trick is to turn off your grammar checker tool & extension also turn off Grammarly.
Those correction red lines are your friends when you are proofreading, but they are your enemies when you are trying to write faster.
Question: “How Can I Improve My Writing Skills?”
For this you have to practice as much as possible.
When copywriter Brian Clark took a young editor under his wing years ago, he forced him to write 100 headlines every day. The editor, who by change went on to launch one of the world’s largest blogging websites, got really good at writing headlines.
So, practice. lots of practice, lots and lots of practice, it will help you improve your writing skills.
(10) Boost Blog Traffic, Promote Blog on Social Media
Now, you are beginner blogger and when you are a beginner blogger, no one is pay attention to you.
This is the time when you can write the most amazing content in the world, but no one knows it exists. Unless you tell them about your blog.
So, You need to spend as much as possible time to promoting your contents as you do writing them. In the beginning, you’ll need to spend more time promoting your blog content than writing the content.
Now, Here are some tips which I will share with you, so that you can get the most out of your promotional efforts.
Tip # 1: Focus on One Social Media Platforms
If you try to jump on every social media platform, you are going to fail.
There are so many platforms out there, and there is only so much time in the day. If you try to stay everywhere you will drown.
Here’s Instead you should: Pick only one social media platform. Pay close attention to it. Forget the other platforms (anyway for a long time).
Which platform depends on where your ideal readers exit. For some niches, that will be Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
Find the best social media network platform for your blog’s niche, join it and dominate it.
Everything listed above is fine, but how can this be?
Facebook is the grandfather of all social media right now, Almost all the famous bloggers and companies use it for their promotion.
But there is also a way to use it. If you use it properly, you will get a lot of traffic to your blog in days, not months but, conversely, if you mis-use it, Facebook will ban your page or group as well as your blog link.
In that case you will not be able to share your blog posts on Facebook and this will be a great loss for you, Especially when are beginner.
So the question is how do we use Facebook properly?
1. First create your Facebook profile and write good bio about yourself, and also write something short about your blog but never put a blog link in your profile.
2. From time to time send friend requests to active people who are active on Facebook and do not spam etc. This will increase the number of your friends and later these same people will follow your blog page and help promote it.
3. Create your Facebook page or group and invite your friends to it and request them to invite their friends.
4. Now that you’ve created a Facebook page, share your blog content in it but, do not share all posts at once as this is against the rules of Facebook and falls into the category of spamming.
Make it a habit not to share more than one post in a day, and share other blog posts about your Niche on your page, so that Facebook feels that you are doing the right work and providing accurate information to people.
If you only share your blog posts and share many links of your blog to Facebook page daily or when you created the Facebook page and you started sharing all your blog posts at the same time, then Facebook definitely ban your blog.
So be patient and use Facebook the right way to promote your blog. If you successfully do this, you will be able to earn a passive income from your Facebook page in the future.
You may be worried that you need a sophisticated Twitter strategy, but don’t stress. If you focus on a few simple steps, you’ll easily tap into a community that will support your work, drive traffic to your content, and ultimately monetize your blog.
And even if you don’t have many followers right now, you can get the most out of it, and start reaping the benefits.

You can earn good amount of money from affiliate program’s with less traffic,
Alternatively, if you want to make money from an ad network, you need a lot of traffic.
We believe that the best way for bloggers to earn money is to build an audience that they trust, and then offer high quality products or services that will really help that audience.
Most new bloggers hear this advice and what to do. They close their current blog and create a new blog like books or courses ETC, but we think that is a huge mistake when you are a beginner.
Because you may have to work hard for months or even years to create such a blog, but it is still difficult to gain people’s trust because you are new so people will not trust you.
So instead of creating your own blog, we recommend you promote products of other companies that are already popular and trusted.
The benefits of affiliate marketing is you provide your audience with relevant product information in the right way which makes it easier for them to buy.
When they buy this product you get commission for it.
